Privacy Policy

This is a starting template, not legal advice. Have it reviewed against the jurisdictions you actually serve : GDPR and UK GDPR if you have EU or UK visitors, CCPA/CPRA if you have California visitors. Do it before you launch, and update it to match the analytics and affiliate tools you really install.
What we collect
This site does not ask you to create an account and never collects payment details. We collect personal information only when you send it to us through one of three forms:
- Belt recommendation request: your name, email, optional phone number, your waist and rib-to-hip measurements, training style, current belt, budget and anything you tell us about fit problems.
- Contact form: your name, email, the reason you are getting in touch and your message.
- Email signup: your email and optional first name.
We use this to reply to you and, if you signed up, to send the emails you asked for. The belt size calculator is separate and runs entirely in your browser: measurements typed into it are never sent anywhere.
How it is processed
Form submissions are stored in GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), the customer relationship platform we use to manage replies and email. It processes the data on our behalf under its own security and privacy terms.
Tracking and cookies
Every page loads the LeadConnector external tracking script. It records page views, time on page, the page you arrived from and your device type, and sets a session cookie whose name begins lc_session_, so that a form submission can be connected to the pages visited before it. If you submit a form, that browsing session is associated with your contact record.
If you serve visitors in the EU or UK, this tracking needs prior consent and a consent banner before the script loads. Confirm your obligations before launch.
Affiliate links
When you follow a commissioned link, the destination retailer may set a cookie recording that you arrived from this site so that any resulting purchase is attributed to us. That cookie is set by the retailer under their own privacy policy, not by us, and we do not receive your personal information from it, only aggregate commission reporting. Server logs
Our hosting provider records standard request logs, which typically include IP address, user agent, requested URL and timestamp. These are used for security and to diagnose faults, and are retained according to the provider’s policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of personal data relating to you, and to object to processing or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@weightliftingbeltforwomen.com.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page.
